Meet Miso 💕👅
Miso is an incredibly affectionate, sweet lady who believes there is absolutely no such thing as too much love.
This gorgeous girl will shower her favourite person with purrs, headbutts and constant cuddles. She wants to be wherever her person is and would happily spend her days by your side, soaking up all the affection she can get.
Miso would be very happy sharing her home with a friendly cat who enjoys a little playtime, but she could also thrive as a solo cat — especially with a work-from-home human who can keep her company throughout the day. What she really wants is to be close to her people.
And then there’s her adorable little face! Miso has a few missing/removed teeth, which has left her with the sweetest permanent blep and an irresistibly derpy expression. It only makes her even more lovable.
If you’re looking for a devoted cuddle buddy, a professional purrer and a tiny shadow who will happily follow you around the house, Miso is your girl. 💗
Our adoptable cats are indoor-only to keep them safe, healthy and happy. We ask all adopters to provide a secure indoor home where their new companion can thrive.
For all cats under 12 months old, Rocky Roads Rescue has a strict, no single kittens adoption policy. Solo adoptions will only be permitted if specified in the cat's profile.

Rocky Roads is run completely by volunteers - as such sometimes we do not have the capacity to reply to every single application that comes through.
We understand that this may not be the best experience but we are working hard to ensure the people who give up their valuable time and lives to support the animals in our care are able to look after themselves and their families too.
Without them, there is no Rocky Roads Rescue.

~The Adoption Process~
⦿ Adoption enquiry comes through
⦿ One of the RR team will reach out to discuss the adoption process with you - we are volunteers, please allow time for us to reach out to you!
⦿ Meet and greet is organised and completed - you head home! 💚
⦿ Family chats to decide if this adoption is right for you!
⦿ Adoption fee is paid
⦿ Contracts are signed and returned to RR
⦿ Pick up your new family member
⦿ 2 week trial period - during this time you can call and text any questions, concerns, celebrations etc to us!
⦿ At the end of the 2 week trial period we send you desex certificates, vaccination certificates and the microchip will be submitted for transfer into your name
Please note that at Rocky Roads Rescue, we believe every kitten deserves the joy of companionship. To support their well-being and happiness, we generally do not adopt out single kittens. We encourage you to explore the concept of ‘single kitten syndrome’ to understand why having a furry friend is so important. Your new family member will thrive best with a feline buddy or a cat-friendly dog to share playtime and cuddles. However, on occasion, if a cats’s personality shows they prefer to be on their own, we may consider adopting them solo—this will be clearly specified in their adoption profile.
