About Jewel
Meet Jewel, a beautiful and gentle girl looking for a very different kind of forever home — one where she can enjoy space, security and the company of other cats without the expectation of becoming a cuddly house cat.
Jewel is naturally wary of people and prefers to keep her distance. She may come close for an inquisitive sniff once she feels safe, but she is not comfortable being handled or petted.
Where Jewel really shines is with other cats. She is wonderfully social with her feline friends and is known for being a gentle and playful companion, particularly with kittens.
Jewel would be best suited to a secure barn, stable, shed, warehouse or similar property where she can have shelter, regular food and water, ongoing care and the freedom to live life largely on her own terms. A home with other friendly cats would be a big bonus.
She may also earn her keep by helping with mice, although like any barn cat she will still need to be provided with regular food rather than relying on hunting alone.
Her ongoing care is very manageable — all she needs is regular flea and worm treatment, which can simply be crushed into her food, so there’s no need for handling.
She isn’t looking to be a traditional pet — she’s looking for someone willing to give a shy cat a safe place to belong.

All adoptions incld 1 Free Vet Appointment at Mont Albert Vet or Canterbury Vet (Valued at $155) and or 50% off Dental Procedure *only if needed*
(Voucher Required -Please Ask for This once you have successfully adopted a pet from us)
We have a mandatory house inspection
Shortlisted adopters will be contacted to arrange a meet & greet with the animal. **Depending on our foster's availability
We do follow-ups throughout the life of the animal
In the event that you are unable to care for the animal anymore, you must contact us to seek verbal advice
Some animals will require mandatory enrollment to professional training/behaviorist - this will be noted on the animal's profile & adoption agreement, we will require proof of enrollment before we are able to complete the adoption process/transfer of ownership
