Ringo is a handsome Beagle who is looking for a patient and understanding home where he can build his confidence and learn that the world isn't quite so scary. Shelter life has been overwhelming for this sensitive boy, and he can be quite nervous in unfamiliar situations.

Despite his nerves, Ringo is interested in his people and will seek out interaction when he feels comfortable. He is beginning to learn his basic commands and can sit once he has your attention. He'll need continued training, particularly with lead and harness walking, as he is a very strong boy and appears to have had little previous lead experience.

A securely fenced yard is essential to help Ringo feel safe and secure in his new home. He would suit a single person or family with older children who can give him the patience, consistency, and reassurance he needs to flourish. Ringo could potentially live with a compatible canine companion following a meet and greet.
