Meet Sophia

Sophia is a gentle older girl who is finding life at the shelter very difficult. She is a scared cat and is currently part of our Scared Cat Program at Lost Dogs Home Cranbourne, where we give cats like Sophia the time, patience and support they need to feel safe again.

At her age, Sophia shouldn't have to spend her days feeling frightened and unsure of what is happening around her. What she really needs is a quiet, understanding home where she can take things at her own pace and slowly learn that she is safe and loved.

Sophia may not be the cat who runs up to greet you straight away, but with patience and a gentle approach, we hope she can show someone the sweet girl underneath her fear. She deserves someone willing to look past her nervousness and give her the chance to simply be a cat.

We know Sophia's forever home may be a little harder to find, but we are hoping someone will see her, choose her and give this older girl the peaceful home she deserves.
