Bolt has come such a long way since he first arrived in care. He has done a complete 360° and has blossomed into an incredibly affectionate boy who is ready to find his special person.

Once Bolt decides he trusts you, he becomes your best friend. He absolutely loves pats and has even perfected what we call the “dolphin pat”—he'll jump up to meet your hand because he simply can't wait for his affection!

Bolt is also a curious boy who loves exploring his surroundings and investigating anything new and interesting. When he's not busy exploring, you'll find him happily playing with wand toys, enjoying his cardboard scratchers, or curled up in a cosy bed.

He currently has his own favourite cat scratcher, where he loves nothing more than rolling around and sleeping right on the tippy top. Clearly, Bolt believes the best sleeping spots are the highest ones!

Favourite Things:
Pats—especially his famous dolphin-style pats!
Food, particularly roast chicken.
Applaws fresh fish packets.
Wand toys.
Cardboard cat scratchers.
Cosy beds and his favourite scratcher.
Exploring and discovering new things.

Bolt is still learning that being picked up is okay, so this is something his new family will need to take slowly and allow him to become comfortable with in his own time.

Suitable with:
Kids: Yes, older children aged 10+ would be preferred.
Dogs: No.
Other Cats: No.

Bolt is best suited to being the only animal in the home. He would be particularly well suited to a couple, individual, or retired household looking for one very special boy to become their beloved companion.
