Meet the angel baby, Dusty!

Dusty came into the shelter with a microchip that listed him as a whippet, but we have a sneaky suspicion he is actually a Silken Windhound. Whatever breed he may be, what we know for sure is that he is the sweetest, speediest little man around. Whether you are dressing him up in cute little jumpers, brushing his silky hair or cuddling him during these cold winter nights, Dusty is the long boi for you!

Dusty is, without a doubt, one of the sweetest and gentlest boys you will ever meet. He is a certified, Grade 1 clinger who thrives on affection and loves nothing more than snuggling up as close as physically possible. However, once he warms up and feels completely comfortable, his goofy side takes over! Dusty can go from a serene cuddlebug to a silly speed demon in a split second, bursting into full throttle zoomies that are guaranteed to keep you entertained.

Because Dusty loves his people so intensely, his adoptive family will need to help him with independence training so he feels secure when spending time on his own. Around other dogs, Dusty can get a bit overexcited if things move too quickly, so he requires patient, slow introductions. He could potentially live with a doggy brother or sister, provided they match his gentle temperament and respectful vibe (whilst being a little silly billy).
