Meet Choppa -

He is a gentle, affectionate young boy with a big personality and an even bigger potential to become an amazing companion for the right family.

Choppa absolutely loves his humans and is happiest when he can be part of what is happening. He is gentle and cuddly and loves nothing more than seeing his people. He also loves playing with his foster siblings and would really enjoy having another active, playful dog to keep him company. He would thrive with:

• Another active, social dog to play with
• A large, secure backyard or preferably some property
• Plenty of daily exercise and mental stimulation
• Consistent boundaries and training
• Humans who enjoy being active and involved with their dog
• A family who understands working breed traits and is committed to helping him mature into a balanced adult dog

Choppa isn't looking for a home where he will simply be left to entertain himself. He is a young dog with working instincts, intelligence and plenty of energy, and his future family will need to give him an appropriate outlet for all of that potential.

In return, they will get a loving, cuddly and incredibly rewarding dog who genuinely wants to be with his people and is eager to learn.

Choppa has all the ingredients to become a fantastic dog. He just needs the right humans to help him get there.

He is a clever, food motivated puppy who is currently working on his foundation skills. He is a quick learner and loves having something to do, but because he has a mix of some very demanding working breeds in his background, he will need a family who understands that raising him will be a commitment.

He is doing beautifully with his crate training and is comfortable sleeping and resting in his crate. He is also friendly and respectful with the resident cat.

Like any young working breed puppy, Choppa is still a work in progress. He is learning how to walk nicely on lead and is continuing to build his social engagement and confidence in the world around him. He is making great progress and his willingness to learn is one of his best qualities.
