About Millie
Millie is an energetic, full of beans, loving gal! She is looking for a home that can provide some structure and routine throughout the day. She can be nervous and worried in new environments. Recommend someone home for the first few days to help settle her in.
Millie would love to be allowed indoors and be a part of the family. Previous owner states she was toilet trained. She enjoys relaxing and laying out in the sun to recharge
Recommend no small animals/feathered friends. Has a history of killing chickens and ducks.
May be nervous walking around busy streets. Has been a bit nervous of trucks and loud unknown noises around shelter.
Can be unsure of close handling, recommend making all experiences positive by using treats! Once comfortable with her people she may open up and be more comfortable
Open to the right family. May need to be wary of any running or fast movements! Seems to have a high prey drive so may like to chase.
She loves her toys! Will play Tug, chase after balls and destuff fluffy toys!
She's a smart girl who would benefit from daily enrichment opportunities. She loves her food and is eager to please. She knows how to sit but would love for her new fam to continue her training.
Must meet other dogs at time of adoption. Very worried by other dogs at first but seems curious and did offer some play bows but other dogs were not very social. Owner history states that she is dog social. Would do best with a calm social doggie friend and a thorough meet to give her time to get to know and feel comfortable with the other dog.
Not suitable for dog parks or off lead areas as these would be too overwhelming and unpredictable for her.
