About Summer
This gorgeous Maremma is simply a *sweet, gentle soul*. She can be a little shy when first getting to know you, but give her some time and kindness and you’ll soon discover just how much she loves her humans. Once she feels safe, she forms a beautiful bond with her people and is a wonderfully loving companion. *She’s super neutral with other dogs* and is happy to peacefully coexist without needing to be involved in everything. *Walks beautifully on her harness* and enjoys getting out and about with her humans. *Snacks are definitely the way to her heart!* She loves her treats, which is always handy when building trust and continuing her training. *She can also be left home alone without any dramas*, settling happily while her humans are out. At four years old, she’s past the crazy puppy stage and has a lovely, settled nature. She isn't looking to be the centre of attention — she just wants a safe, loving home, kind humans to call her own and a place where she can relax and be herself. If you have a soft spot for the beautiful, loyal nature of a Maremma and you're looking for a gentle girl to share your life with, *she may just be the one you've been waiting for.* Sometimes the quiet ones take a little longer to show you their heart… but they're often the ones who steal yours completely.
🐾 A Few Important Things to Know
• Interstate adoption is available at the adopter's expense. Please contact us for a transport quote. Puppies under 12 weeks of age are unable to fly and will remain in foster care until they have completed their veterinary work and are old enough to travel.
• Breed and adult size: As a rescue organisation, we cannot always guarantee a dog's breed mix or their expected adult size.
• Medical conditions: Any known medical conditions or ongoing care requirements will always be clearly outlined in the dog's adoption profile.
• Veterinary care: All puppies and dogs are adopted with proof of their completed veterinary work.
• Making an enquiry: When submitting an enquiry, please include a little information about yourself, your location, and your contact details. This allows us to pass your enquiry on to the foster carer, who will contact you if they believe the dog may be a suitable match.
• If you are renting: Please include a copy of your current lease agreement or written approval from your landlord confirming that pets are permitted at the property. This will assist us in processing your application.
