About Hobbs
Meet Hobbs! Hobbs is a friendly, affectionate boy searching for a quiet home where he can feel safe and loved. As he is FIV+, Hobbs will need to be the only pet in the household and live as an indoor-only cat. To help him settle in, he'll benefit from starting in a safe room before gradually exploring the rest of his new home. A calm environment, predictable routine, and gentle, consent-based interactions will help him build confidence and feel secure. Hobbs also enjoys environmental enrichment, interactive play, and daily engagement to keep him happy and stimulated. His ideal home is with adults or calm teenagers who can offer patience, stability, and plenty of love.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
