About Hobbs
Meet Hobbs! This handsome boy is a friendly and affectionate fellow looking for a calm, loving home where he can truly relax and feel safe. Hobbs is FIV+, so he will need to be the only pet in the household and live an indoor-only lifestyle.
Hobbs will appreciate having a quiet space of his own when he first arrives, giving him time to settle before gradually exploring his new surroundings. With a predictable routine, gentle interactions and plenty of patience, Hobbs can take his time building confidence and getting comfortable.
Once settled, Hobbs enjoys attention, interactive play and plenty of enrichment to keep his curious mind busy. He would suit an adult home and may also be happy living with cat-savvy, respectful older kids or teenagers who understand his boundaries and can give him space when needed.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
