Zelda is a sweet, intelligent, and super-curious girl with the ultimate "big sister" energy! She led the way in showing her siblings how great house-cat life is (and even figured out how to unzip their playpen to set them all free!). She’s an inquisitive soul who loves to have a good stickybeak at whatever you’re doing! 💖

Energy Level: Medium 🐾 — Full of fun play during the day, followed by cozy evening lap cuddles!
Cat Friendly: Yes! 😸 I must go to a home with another friendly, playful cat to keep me company and keep my confidence high.
Solo Cat Home? No thank you—I need a feline buddy!
Dogs & Kids: Untested. I'm totally fine with household music, but new people can be scary, so a calmer home without too many visitors suits me best.

Best Toys: Wand toys with strings and feather teasers! I like to observe from afar at first, then spring into action to save the day. 🪶✨
Top Spots: High up on the cat tree, or lounging on the human bed during the day. 🏰💤
Best Treats & Affection: Churu and roast chicken are absolute magic! 😋 I love chin rubs, behind-the-ear scratches, and smooth full-body pats while sitting in your lap at night. 👂💕
Not a Fan Of: Unfamiliar strangers and the noisy vacuum cleaner! 🧹❌

Adoption details
Our adoption process is as follows:
1. Submit an adoption application via our website at www.rescuecatsofmelbourne.com.au/adopt
2. We will be in touch with you within 48 hours if we wish to progress your application.
3. A meet and greet will then be organised so that you can meet your potential new family member!
4. Upon a successful meet and greet, an adoption day will be set for you to come and collect your new family member and sign all required paperwork
All of our cats come de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, worm treated and with a clean bill of health.
Our 10-Day Health Guarantee: We want you to feel confident in your new family member’s health. We offer a 10-day cooling-off period specifically for health-related concerns. If your kitten shows signs of a pre-existing illness (such as a respiratory infection or parasite) within the first 10 days of arriving home, please contact us immediately. During this window, you have the option to return the kitten for a full refund or work with our rescue team to ensure the kitten receives the necessary care. We are committed to transparency and the wellbeing of our cats.
