About Tango
Open to meet kids 10 years and up
Food lover
Only pet in the home
You will fall in love
Tango is one big, handsome boy with the most beautiful eyes that will have you falling in love in no time!
Tango can be a little shy and nervous when meeting new people, but there is a very simple way to win him over… TREATS! This boy absolutely loves his food and is more than happy to accept a tasty snack from anyone willing to offer one. Consider treats your official entry ticket into Tango’s friendship club!
Once he knows you, Tango is happy to enjoy some pats, but he definitely likes to keep things on his terms. Being picked up isn't really his thing, so he would much rather keep all four paws firmly on the ground while you admire his handsome face.
And just like the dance, Tango likes to take things one step at a time. He may do a little step back when you first meet him, but give him some time, patience and a few treats, and you might just find yourself dancing your way into his heart!
Tango would love to be the only cat in the home, where he can soak up all the attention and enjoy having his people (and their treat stash) all to himself.
Come and meet Tango and give him the chance to show you what a sweet boy he really is.

With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as flawless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories. Most left in the shelter by their owners. The information we receive is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks will surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
So please keep in touch with us after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
