Meet Buster
Buster is a gorgeous, gentle and incredibly easy-going young boy who is looking for a family to call his own.
This big-hearted puppy is docile, affectionate and intelligent, making him a very easy boy to live with.
He absolutely loves people and is always ready to show his affection — usually by giving you plenty of kisses!
Buster is very food motivated, which makes him a dream to train. He has already learnt commands including sit, stay, fetch, no and move, and he is eager to please his humans.
He is learning to walk on a lead but would benefit from continuos training as he grows into his big paws.
Buster is wonderfully well behaved for such a young dog. He is house trained, rarely barks and is happy to simply be wherever his people are.
He loves his toys and his bed and isn't destructive. He doesn't dig holes and, when left home alone for a couple of hours, he is content to relax and hasn't shown any tendency to chew or get into mischief.
Buster happily settles on his bed overnight and sleeps through without wandering around or needing to go outside.
Crate training is still a work in progress and hasn't quite clicked for him yet. However, given his calm nature and ability to settle beautifully on his bed, we feel that with patience, consistency and positive reinforcement, he will get there in time.
Buster would suit a family looking for a gentle, affectionate and laid-back companion who enjoys being close to his people without needing constant entertainment.
As he is expected to grow into a large dog, his new family will need to be prepared for the size of the gorgeous puppy they are bringing home and continue his training and socialisation as he matures.
Buster is a truly lovely young boy with so much potential. He is affectionate, intelligent, well mannered and simply happy to be part of your world.
If you're looking for a gentle giant in the making who will happily follow you around and shower you with kisses, Buster could be the boy for you!
Buster is $450 to adopt and will bedesexed at 6 months of age, microchipped, C5 vaccinated and given flea, tick and worm preventatives.
