Hi there, I’m Luna, a two-year-old with a warm heart and a little sunbeam of a spirit. I wake to the soft chorus of birds, stretch my legs, and greet the day with a wag that knows no shyness. I’m the kind of dog who loves a gentle cuddle as much as a sniffing stroll, who curls up with you on the couch and then flashes a quick, goofy bounce when the world feels exciting. I adore people and enjoy friendly greetings, and I’ve lived with another dog indoors, with three other dogs kept outdoors on the same property, so I’ve learned that calm company can be wonderful. I can be selective with dogs I meet that I don’t know yet, and when an unfamiliar dog crosses my path I might pull and stare, because I want to meet and learn at my own pace. I’m not without a little mischief, but I respond to daily chances to learn about life, practice good manners, and grow more confident. My energy is moderate—I love a good walk and a few sniffy adventures, followed by a sunlit nap in a warm patch of light. I’d thrive in a home with children 12 years and older, in a space that can blend indoors and outdoors living with a solid fence that keeps me safe and curious mind at ease. I do best with a home that understands I may need time and gentle encouragement when I’m in a new place, and that I might do best with a tolerant or social dog if another dog is sharing the space. A yard with secure fencing and plenty of everyday opportunities to learn and explore will help me flourish, and a family who can meet me where I am—patient, kind, and a tad playful—will help me shine.
