About Mia
Meet Mia: Older, Wiser... Still Here for the Snacks!
Mia might be an older girl, but nobody seems to have told her she’s supposed to slow down!
This lovely lady is a serious foodie who knows that one of life’s greatest pleasures is a good snack. If treats are involved, you can be fairly certain Mia will be interested.
She’s also still very much a pup at heart. Mia loves getting outside for a play with her toys and is always happy to join in with whatever her humans are doing. Yard work? She’ll supervise. Fishing? She’s coming too. Beach trip? Absolutely! Mia loves the beach and is happiest when she can simply tag along and be part of the action.
Mia isn’t a dog who needs to be constantly cuddled or fussed over. She enjoys her independence and is quite content doing her own thing, although she certainly appreciates the occasional pat when the mood strikes.
Currently in foster care with a loving family, we’ve had the opportunity to get to know Mia’s personality and the things that make her happy. She would suit someone looking for an easy-going companion who enjoys getting out and about, pottering around together and, importantly, keeping the snack cupboard appropriately stocked.
SAFE doesn’t have a shelter you can visit because our animals live in foster homes. If Mia sounds like your kind of girl, simply send in an adoption application and we can arrange a meet and greet with her foster family.
Mia may have a few more years under her collar, but there’s still plenty of fun, adventure and snack appreciation left in this girl. 🐾💙
