About Winnie
Winnie is a tiny ball of energy who seems convinced that everything in the house was put there specifically for him to investigate.
This playful little boy absolutely loves toys, especially anything that moves, jingles, or makes an interesting sound. Bells are a favourite, and anything soft and fluffy is immediately worthy of Winnie's attention. After all that playing, he'll happily find a cosy blanket, start making biscuits, and settle in for some well earned rest before the next adventure begins.
But Winnie's favourite thing might actually be his people. He settled into foster care within just a day and quickly became everyone's little shadow. Every morning comes with excited meows and requests for attention, and when you come home, expect Winnie to be waiting at the door ready to welcome you back. He's not particularly interested in being picked up, but the moment you sit or lie down, that's a completely different story. He'll happily climb onto you, start purring, and if you're lying down, your chest may very quickly become his new favourite bed.
Winnie is an energetic kitten who likes to keep busy and can occasionally get a little carried away after a long play session with some gentle playful nibbles. He's also a clever boy who responds well to consistent boundaries and redirection. His foster family has already helped him learn some good manners around human mealtimes.
If you're looking for a quiet little couch ornament, Winnie probably didn't get that memo. But if you want a curious, affectionate, people-loving kitten who'll greet you at the door, keep you entertained, and eventually curl up on your chest purring, he could be exactly what you're looking for.
We encourage you to come and meet Winnie at our North Melbourne shelter as soon as possible, as our cats cannot be placed on hold. We think this little character is going to bring a whole lot of fun and love into his new home.
