Introducing Donatella Versace - a gorgeous, grey and white medium-haired girl with a name as fabulous as she is!

Donatella is finding shelter life very overwhelming. She is extremely scared of people and her surroundings at the moment, and her preferred way of saying "please give me some space" is to greet everyone with a hiss! 😾

But underneath those hisses is a very frightened girl who simply isn't feeling safe yet. Donatella isn't looking for someone to rush in and win her over - she needs someone who understands that trust cannot be forced.

She is looking for an experienced, quiet home where she can have a safe space of her own and be given the freedom to settle in at her own pace. Her new humans will need to be comfortable letting her come to them when she is ready, rather than expecting cuddles or interaction straight away.

Donatella needs a home where she can simply be Donatella - where her boundaries will be respected, her progress celebrated and her humans have the patience to let her show them who she really is.

We believe that with the right environment, time and understanding, there is potential for this beautiful girl to feel much safer and more comfortable. It may take time, and she may never be the type of cat who wants to be carried around or constantly fussed over - and that's okay. ❤️

What Donatella needs most is someone who can look past the hisses and see the scared girl behind them.

She is looking for an adult-only home with no children, preferably with someone experienced with nervous or fearful cats. A quiet household, a dedicated safe space and humans who are happy to let her set the pace would be ideal.
