About Jive
Meet Jive!
Jive is a sweet and gentle boy who can be a little shy when you first meet him. He may need a little time to feel comfortable in his new surroundings, but once he knows he’s safe, his affectionate side starts to shine!
Jive absolutely loves affection and will happily soak up all the pats and attention once he gets to know you. He’s a lovely boy who would thrive in a patient home where he can take things at his own pace and build his confidence.
Jive would love a home with plenty of cosy spots to curl up, a cat tree to climb and scratch, and lots of toys to keep him entertained. He is already litter trained, but it’s always best to show him where his litter tray is when he arrives home to help him settle in.
If you have other animals at home, Jive may be open to meeting them, but introductions should always be slow and controlled to help everyone feel comfortable.
If you think you could be the patient and loving home Jive is looking for, come and meet him!

With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as flawless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories. Most left in the shelter by their owners. The information we receive is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks will surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
So please keep in touch with us after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
