About Jazz
Jazz may be a little shy, but luckily we've already discovered the secret to making friends with her... treats.
This sweet girl likes to take a moment to observe new people before deciding whether she's ready to say hello. She's still a little unsure in the shelter environment, so don't be surprised if she keeps her distance at first. Bring along some patience, a gentle approach, and perhaps a tasty treat or two, and you'll start earning your way into her good books.
Jazz isn't the type of cat who'll immediately throw herself into your arms, and that's part of what makes getting to know her special. She's looking for someone who won't rush her and will let her build confidence at her own pace. At just 1 year old, she still has plenty of growing and learning ahead of her, and we think a calm, loving home could be exactly what she needs to really come out of her shell.
There's something incredibly rewarding about watching a shy cat slowly decide that you're their person. The first time Jazz comes looking for you, settles nearby, or asks for affection will mean that little bit more because you know you've earned her trust.
We encourage you to come and meet Jazz at our North Melbourne shelter as soon as possible, as our cats cannot be placed on hold. She might not be the first one to demand your attention, but give this sweet girl a chance and she may just surprise you.
