Brodie (On Trial)

Trying out a new home 10/9/11. . . 1 year old beagle brodie is super cute with his floppy ears and ready smile. He's a quick learner and is very gentle with young kids. He loves to play with other dogs and is just one happy puppy. He's so smart, in just a week he has learnt to tap on the door to go outside, sit, drop, stay, come, wait for his dinner, and even to 'bow' and to jump over a pole at the same time as my 2 other dogs. He has learnt to keep out of the cat's way and not to bother the chickens. Be sure to watch his adorable video. . . Brodie is full of beagle personality and needs to be a part of the family. As he is still a young dog he would suit a family that can give him lots of exercise and mental stimulation to keep him out of trouble. He would also benefit from further obedience training etc, as beagles have a tendency to be distracted by their noses. . . . Brodie needs a secure yard and he would love a family where someone home much of the day, or at least another dog, as he doesn't like to be left on his own. After a big day of adventuring, brodie loves nothing more than to curl up on the lounge beside you for some r and r time.
