About Molly
Molly has come such a long way, and we think she's ready to show everyone just how lovely she really is.
When Molly first came into our care, shelter life was overwhelming. She was incredibly shy and needed plenty of time, patience, and gentle encouragement to begin feeling safe around people. That's why Molly became part of our Scared Cat Program, giving her the extra support she needed to build her confidence at her own pace.
Fast forward to today, and we're seeing a very different Molly.
This sweet girl has become wonderfully friendly and affectionate. She enjoys being close to people, happily accepts pats, and once the cuddles begin, she's more than happy to stick around for more. Seeing that affectionate side come through after such a nervous beginning has been incredibly lovely.
Molly may still need a little time to adjust when she moves into another unfamiliar environment. After all, a new home is another big change, and every cat settles differently. A patient family who lets her explore and find her feet at her own pace will give her the best start. But Molly has already shown us how much confidence she can gain when she feels safe, and underneath everything is a genuinely sweet, cuddly cat with so much affection to give.
At 1 year and 6 months old, Molly has so much life ahead of her. She's no longer just the frightened little cat who first arrived at the shelter. She's blossoming, she's learning to trust, and now she needs someone to give her the chance to continue that journey somewhere she can finally call home.
Molly is part of our Rescue or Rehome program, where we are committed to finding homes for cats and kittens who simply cannot cope in the shelter environment. If you can open your heart and home to Molly - or if you're a rescue group able to help - please reach out to us at adoptions@dogshome.com
