About Joker
Have you ever wanted a tall, very handsome best friend who believes personal space is merely a suggestion❓ Let us introduce Joker❣️
Joker is a retired racing greyhound who is embracing his new career as a full-time companion. Having spent years living by a strict schedule, he's now discovering all the wonderful things pet life has to offer: comfy beds 🛏️, leisurely walks 🐾, snacks 🍏, cuddles 💕; and zooming on his own time. This is all still quite new to him, he can be a little nervous at first until he learns the rhythms of his new life. His personality is emerging more and more each day, but so far he is easy-going; goofy and loving.
Joker has lovely manners at meal times and on the lead. He is polite when meeting dogs 🐕 out and about. He’s still learning how to do stairs but is a pro at using a ramp! Joker could be an only dog but would be fine with relaxed larger dog siblings (he’s currently staying with 2 greyhounds). Best suited with adults or children over 12yrs.

Adoption details
We list animals for adoption on Pet Rescue as well as on our own Animals-in-Need-Brisbane website. We talk with people who contact about an animal to see what their needs and situation are. Our emphasis is on getting the right animal for the people and the right people for the animal. If everyone's needs are met things usually work out well.
If the situation sounds good we arrange a meeting. If all goes well we let people try the animal out for a couple of weeks to ensure that everyone is happy.
We keep records of all adopters, follow up to ensure all is well and undertake to take back any animal if circumstances change.
