Meet Banksy—a gorgeous, young Kelpie mix with a heart of gold and a delightfully active, loving nature❣️
Sadly, through no fault of his own and due to the ongoing housing crisis, Banksy is looking for a new family to love. He has been a cherished, deeply loved member of his current household, and we’re on the hunt for a forever home that will treasure him just as much.
About Banksy:
-Family-Approved: Banksy has grown up alongside kids over 8 years old and has always lived with another dog 🐕. He’d make a fantastic addition to a dog-friendly home!
-Smart & Well-Mannered: He is fully housetrained, obedient, and boasts great recall ✔️.
-Fun-Loving & Active: Being a young Kelpie mix, Banksy loves his toys and needs a daily walk 🐾 (or two!) to keep his mind and body happy.
-Indoor Snuggler: A non-negotiable for this sweet boy—he must sleep inside with his human family at night.

⚠️ Assisted rehoming 🏡
This is an assisted rehoming which means that Animals In Need Brisbane (AINB) will advertise, contact applicants and pass on applications that meet the the criteria to the owner who will make the final decision on the rehoming of the animal. AINB may also be requested to undertake an inspection of the successful applicants property to confirm safety and suitability.
There is no adoption fee for assisted rehomings but we do ask for a donation (amount of their choosing) from the successful applicant to AINB, in recognition of the administrative and time costs incurred..
👉🏼 Please ensure you include all relevant information in your application, including fencing, other pets, children and ages etc. or we may not be able to pass on your application.

Adoption details
We list animals for adoption on Pet Rescue as well as on our own Animals-in-Need-Brisbane website. We talk with people who contact about an animal to see what their needs and situation are. Our emphasis is on getting the right animal for the people and the right people for the animal. If everyone's needs are met things usually work out well.
If the situation sounds good we arrange a meeting. If all goes well we let people try the animal out for a couple of weeks to ensure that everyone is happy.
We keep records of all adopters, follow up to ensure all is well and undertake to take back any animal if circumstances change.
