About Bear
Bear is a gentle, loyal boy who loves long walks, exploring new places, swimming at the beach, rivers and lakes, and relaxing on the couch for a cuddle at the end of the day.
Bear was born deaf but has been trained entirely using hand signals. Because he's deaf, Bear has always been kept on leash in public, and he sleeps indoors as he can bark if left outside alone at night. He is in great health with no medical conditions.
Bear would be best suited to a calm home without young children or other dogs. He's independent, well-behaved, and travels well in the car, although he does “need” a hand getting in because gravity is against him (25–30 kg).
We're looking for a loving home where Bear can enjoy the next chapter of his life with someone who understands his needs and wants a friend to explore with.
Medical notes
Bear is desexed, microchipped and up to date with vaccinations and parasite control.
He has had collie nose in the past and therefore needs to be kept out of extreme summer sun or wear sunblock.
He is deaf, but fully trained with hand signals.
