About Buddy & Lilly
Meet our beautiful, bonded pair, Buddy 7yrs & Lilly 11 & 1/2 yrs.
These two are an absolute delight, happy, playful & with so much love to give. They are such a cute combo, he is a gentle giant while she is the teeny weeny who is definitely the boss. He is also more sensitive & can get bit over excited when sees other dogs. Going for walks, playing with their ball & lots of cuddles on the couch are all really things they enjoy. Both have sensitive tummies but are thriving on their current diet so we recommend this diet continues.
Lilly has regular Pentosan injections due to her age. Both have had full medical checks & are having their dentals & desexing on the 1st of September. Therefore, will not be eligible to start any trials until at least 16th September, but we thought we would get the ball rolling and start taking applications, organise meet & greets etc, so as soon as they are ready, they can move onto their forever home. Would suit a home without the hustle& bustle of children. Can be left home alone together without issue.
They will not be separated.

Adoption details
CRRA follow a strict "Eight Steps to Adoption" process
(FORM 002) EIGHT STEPS TO ADOPTION
This document sets out the adoption process administered by Colliewobbles Rescue and Rehoming Australia Incorporated (CRRA), including enquiry registration, applicant screening, candidate assessment, trial-period conditions, ownership status, welfare checks, adoption paperwork and microchip transfer.
Step 1
1.1 - The applicant must register an expression of interest.
1.2 - CRRA must record all applications.
Step 2
2.1 - Within 48 hours of the enquiry, the CRRA Welfare Manager must conduct telephone interviews and assess potential applicants.
Step 3
3.1 - CRRA must issue Application Form Part 1 and Application Form Part 2 to suitable applicants.
Step 4
4.1 - CRRA must review Application Form Part 1 and Application Form Part 2 and select potential candidates for adoption.
Step 5
5.1 - CRRA must coordinate an initial meeting with the potential candidate. The dog must not be present at this meeting.
5.2 - CRRA must conduct a property and home inspection.
5.3 The inspection must include consideration of gates, fencing, water features, injury or health risks, plants, other animals, adjoining properties, roads and overall property suitability.
Step 6
6.1 - CRRA must coordinate a second meeting with the potential candidate.
6.2 - CRRA must coordinate a meet-and-greet with the dog present in a neutral location.
6.3 - CRRA must assess the introduction of any other pets.
6.4 - CRRA must assess the dog’s introduction to the potential new home environment.
Step 7
7.1 - CRRA must select the potential new owner from the candidate list.
7.2 - The potential new owner must be notified, and a three-day cooling-off period will commence.
7.3 - The potential new owner must enter into a one-month trial period agreement with CRRA.
7.4 - The potential new owner must pay the adoption fee in full as a security bond
7.5 - Payment of the security bond does not imply, and must not be taken to confer, ownership of the dog.
7.6 - CRRA Director Philip Cassap is, and will remain, the legal owner of the dog until CRRA completes the legal transfer of the microchip.
7.7 The potential new owner must agree to random welfare checks during the one-month trial period.
Step 8
8.1 - CRRA must inspect the wellbeing of the dog at the end of the one-month trial period.
8.2- If the potential new owner elects to proceed with the adoption, CRRA is satisfied that the dog’s needs and wellbeing are being met, CRRA must complete the adoption paperwork for signing and transfer the microchip.
8.3 - If, during or at the end of the one-month trial period, the potential new owner elects not to proceed with the adoption, the potential new owner must immediately release or deliver the dog back to CRRA. A CRRA veterinarian must complete a health check of the dog. If the dog is in good health, CRRA must return the security bond within 24 hours of the veterinary health check.
