💕 Betsy 💕

Betsy is only a baby, estimated to be around 7weeks old and a terrier breed x. She's tiny weighing in at just over 2kgs (with a jumper on), so we know she's not going to be a big dog (no matter how big she 'thinks' she is, lol).

She's currently in foster with 2 much larger dogs, where she's able to hold her own at playtime, but also likes to snuggle along side them. Betsy has also made friends with the 3 resident cats, who aren't quite sure what to make of her, but allow some snuggle time and head smooches, which Betsy enjoys 💕.

Betsy is a smart puppy, already starting to get the hand of toileting in the garden, and most of the time will toddle off the the backdoor to be let out. Apart from a couple of accidents, which is to be expected at her age, she's doing really well.

Betsy is learning basic commands such as sit, wait and down. She's a fast learner and definitely motivated by treats.

We've started crate training Betsy, and she does settle, but can protest (in the most adorable way) for a little while before settling down. We're confident that she'll get better over time, and we've already seen lots of progress in the week she's been doing it.

Whilst the crate helps to settle Betsy and make sure that she's getting all of the sleep any young puppy needs, she does also self regulate and settle for rests during the day and in the evenings, and is not a big barker.

Betsy wants to be wherever the action is. She's very social, playful, funny, loving and gentle. She loves her toys, her dogs, her humans. She loves the zoomies and will join in on any fun to be had.

She's amazing around children and loves rolling around on their laps and having all the tummy and ear scritches that she can possible get. She also loves to use her humans as her bed, and at the moment is small enough to snuggle on a shoulder and nuzzle into a neck. Betsy cuddles are the best!!!

Betsy's ideal family might have dogs, cats, or children at home that she can bond and grow with. Someone home more often than not, and commited to her ongoing training and enrichment.

Betsy's adoption fee is $1,250, which includes microchipping, desexing, lifetime registration, up to date vaccination, flea, worming and complimentary puppy preschool.
