About Fred
If you’re looking for a kitten who will love you with his whole heart, meet Fred our handsome silver tabby Prince!
This gorgeous boy is quite possibly one of the most affectionate kittens we’ve ever had in our care. Fred is a professional smoocher who loves to shower his people with kisses from head to toe — and he simply cannot get close enough. His loud, constant purr is almost always switched on, especially when he’s snuggled up with his favourite person.
But don’t let those cuddly good looks fool you… Fred is also a little daredevil! He launches himself into playtime with complete enthusiasm, loves to climb, races around the house and thinks just about everything is a potential toy. He’s curious, confident and full of kitten mischief. And after he’s exhausted himself? It’s straight to the nearest lap for a well-earned nap, preferably while purring loudly in your arms.
Fred has been fostered with other kittens and absolutely thrives on feline companionship. For this reason, we are looking for a home where he will have a friendly, playful cat companion. Please do not apply for Fred if he would be your only cat, unless you are willing to adopt him with another one of our kittens.
Fred isn’t just looking for a home — he’s looking for his forever family. A family who will adore his affectionate nature, embrace his playful antics and cherish him for every purr, cuddle and mischievous moment for the rest of his life.
If you’re ready for a kitten who will be your little shadow, your playmate and your lap warmer all rolled into one, Fred may just be your perfect match.
He is located in Bendigo and has been vet checked, vaccinated, desexed, microchipped: 956000017389331 and is up to date with flea & worm treatment. His adoption fee is $295. Source Number: RE161465.

Adoption Process and Guidelines
By adopting an animal, you are offering a homeless animal the opportunity for happiness and a forever family. We appreciate your interest in giving a homeless animal a second chance.
Important Information Before You Apply:
• We operate from a private residence located in Bendigo, Central Victoria.
• If you cannot proceed with the adoption within one week of submitting your application, we kindly request that you wait to apply until you are fully ready.
• Most of our communication is conducted via email. As our administration is managed by a single volunteer, we are unable to handle phone enquiries. If you do not respond to our emails or messages within 24 hours, we will move on to the next applicant. Please check your spam or junk email folder regularly to ensure you do not miss our correspondence.
Application Process:
Before completing the application form, please be aware of the following:
Interest expressed through PetRescue enquiries or other platforms, including email, does not constitute a formal application. Our application forms are specifically structured to allow us to assess each applicant fairly and efficiently against our criteria. To apply, please complete the relevant form linked in each animal's profile, providing as much detail as possible. This helps us understand the life you are offering to the pet. If your application is successful, we will contact you by email to arrange a meet and greet.
What Happens After Your Application:
• If the meet and greet goes well, you will be invited to proceed with the adoption, complete the necessary paperwork and pay the adoption fee.
• We offer a trial period to ensure both you and the animal are a good match. If the animal is returned during this trial, you will receive a refund in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined in the Adoption Agreement signed at the time of adoption.
• Even after the trial period, we remain dedicated to supporting your pet throughout its life. If your circumstances change and you need to return your pet—no matter how much time has passed—please reach out to us for assistance.
