Scotty

Scotty is a Staffy boy with the biggest smile and an even bigger love for treats.

When Scotty came into our care, he was very unsure of new people. He has since been working with our behaviour team to build his confidence around unfamiliar people and walks, which he has done so well! He would benefit from a home that will continue ongoing training to ensure he has the best succcess transitioning and blossom into his forever home.

Scotty may take some time and care to entirely trust you, but once you have him, he will show you how loyal of a companion he is. The shelter has proven to be a scary place for the little guy, therefore he may not show his full personality at first. Scotty just needs someone who will committ to him and show him how good life can be!

Scotty is still young at the age of 1 year and 9 months, and has the energy to show for it. He would love to go to a household that will spend time playing fetch with him and take him on any adventures you embark on.

Secondary aged chidlren are best suite for scotty, who will give him the space he needs and resepcts his boundaries, but also happily take on his slobbery kisses and cuddles. He may also be able to go home with a dog friend, so if you have a dog at home looking for a buddy, bring them along to the meet and greet!
