About Klaus
Meet Klaus!
Klaus can be a little shy when you first say hello, but thankfully he doesn't make you wait very long. Give him a gentle approach and a few pats, and soon enough he's leaning into your hand, offering adorable little headbutts, and showing you just how smoochy he really is. Once he feels comfortable, he's a bright, friendly boy who genuinely enjoys being around people.
He has such a gentle way about him and seems happiest when interactions happen at his own pace. Klaus is comfortable with handling, loves a good head scratch, and warms up quickly once he knows he's safe. And we have to mention his very important hairstyle. His mostly white face comes complete with the cutest little tabby "fringe", giving him a permanently charming look that suits his personality perfectly.
At 2 years old, Klaus is ready to settle into home life with someone who'll appreciate his softer side. He also has a minor Grade 1 dental condition that doesn't require surgery and is generally reversible with good dental care at home, such as regular tooth brushing and a dental friendly diet.
If you're looking for a gentle boy who starts off a little shy but quickly turns into a headbutting, pat loving sweetheart, Klaus might just surprise you. We encourage you to come and meet Klaus at our North Melbourne shelter as soon as possible, as our cats cannot be placed on hold.
