Big, beautiful Bear!

Bear is a young puppy with a big personality and isn't afraid to share his thoughts. He can be a little dramatic at times and may vocalise when he's unsure or excited. While he can be reserved when first meeting new people, he generally warms up after a few minutes and reveals his sweet and affectionate nature. Once he knows you, he's a lovely boy who enjoys attention and being part of the action.

Like many puppies, Bear is still learning about the world around him. He is very food motivated, which will make ongoing training rewarding and enjoyable. He can become excited and mouthy during play, so his new family will need to continue teaching appropriate manners and helping him channel his puppy enthusiasm in positive ways.

Bear has been making progress with lead walking. Initially, he was reluctant to walk on lead, but his confidence is growing and he's becoming more willing to explore. He still has some stop-and-start moments and is learning how to respond to leash pressure, so he'll benefit from patient, positive reinforcement training. Continued socialisation with different people, dogs, noises, environments, and everyday experiences will be important to help him develop into a confident adult.

Bear is expected to grow into a big boy and is looking for a home that is prepared for a large, energetic dog. He may be suitable to live with another dog following a slow and appropriate introduction. He could also live with children who are comfortable around larger dogs and understand puppy behaviour, provided there is good supervision and management in place.
