Hello, lovely humans I'm Gwendoline, but everyone calls me Gwennie, and it suits me perfectly. I'm a tiny, floofy little lady with the sweetest face, but what truly makes me special is my gentle heart and the quiet courage I show every day.

Nature
I've been adopted and returned a couple of times, never because I did anything wrong, but because I need more time than most cats to feel safe and trust my humans. I'm not a cat who settles in quickly, but once I feel secure, I'll show my soft side by accepting pats, relaxing in your presence, and blossoming in ways that make every small milestone feel huge.

I had a rough start to life, and even during my time in foster care. I've been learning at my own pace that humans can be gentle, predictable, and kind. I'm timid, but never aggressive, I have a healthy appetite, I enjoy peaceful routines, and I'll accept pats when I feel safe with you.

When the house is quiet, you'll often find me lounging on the back of the sofa or watching the world outside from a cosy perch. I'm a slow-burn kind of girl—the kind who rewards patience with the sweetest, most meaningful progress.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I do best with older, calm children who understand that I need space, patience, and gentle interactions.

I get along beautifully with other cats and often feel more confident when I have a friendly feline role model nearby. A calm, kind cat companion helps me learn that humans aren't scary.

I've lived with dogs in the past, and while I prefer quiet environments, I'm not bothered by calm, respectful dogs. My foster mum currently has a dog who lives outside, and I'm completely unfazed by her—I just quietly go about my day.

🐾 I love quiet spaces, soft hiding spots, and predictable routines.
🐾 I enjoy watching the outdoors from a safe perch—windows are my favourite TV channel.
🐾 I'll accept pats when I feel secure and will grow more affectionate as trust builds.
❌ I'm not a fan of loud noises, sudden movements, or busy environments.
❌ I don't like being rushed—slow, steady, and respectful is how I learn to trust.

My PURR-fect home would be a patient, understanding foster-to-adopt home where I can settle in at my own pace, with a quiet environment, gentle people, and someone who celebrates the small wins. A cosy safe space, like a caboodle or my own room, will help me decompress and feel secure while I adjust. With kindness, predictability, and respect for my boundaries, I'll blossom into the lovely, affectionate lady I've always had the potential to be.
