About Posie
Posie is a confident girl who goes by the mantra "more passion, more energy". If she can do something with extra bounce she will.
Generally she is good at meeting other dogs, however she can be over the top and a bit much at times.
She is fully grown, house trained, crate trained and respectful indoors. She'll relax outside the kitchen and accept bits of carrot, red pepper, broccoli, cauliflower, apple to snack on, but isn’t a fan of banana.
Posie is definitely a girl that needs to be included in whatever her people are doing, outside in the yard, inside or wherever you are, that's where she wants to be. She is okay hanging at home with another doggo for company if you're busy with work etc.
She is a great adventure buddy. Going camping or on a long trip? She'll jump in the car, settle down and be ready to go. Things she enjoys are finding a good stick to run around with and have a good chew on, play tug rope and pretty much anything to do with water.
Being on the small side Posie will jump up for attention, or grab your hand/arm with her mouth, she's working on this and learning she doesn't need to do this, but does forget when she's excited. She's also learning to share attention and not push in to take attention away from her fur sister.
Posie is good with cats, not good with birds and unsure about small kids. And because of her jumping and mouthing would be better around older kids. She's okay with most people she meets and is still learning the whipper snipper and mower don't need herding.
For Posie the main thing is she's included in your daily life, gets regular walks or outings (don't take too long getting ready, you'll get an arooo to hurry up) she'll be a loyal companion that adds joy with her playfulness
🐾 A Few Important Things to Know
• Interstate adoption is available at the adopter's expense. Please contact us for a transport quote. Puppies under 12 weeks of age are unable to fly and will remain in foster care until they have completed their veterinary work and are old enough to travel.
• Breed and adult size: As a rescue organisation, we cannot always guarantee a dog's breed mix or their expected adult size.
• Medical conditions: Any known medical conditions or ongoing care requirements will always be clearly outlined in the dog's adoption profile.
• Veterinary care: All puppies and dogs are adopted with proof of their completed veterinary work.
• Making an enquiry: When submitting an enquiry, please include a little information about yourself, your location, and your contact details. This allows us to pass your enquiry on to the foster carer, who will contact you if they believe the dog may be a suitable match.
• If you are renting: Please include a copy of your current lease agreement or written approval from your landlord confirming that pets are permitted at the property. This will assist us in processing your application.
