Medical notes
- Dental Wear: Bart has some worn-down front teeth. This is not bothering him now, but it's something to keep an eye on.
Future dental cleaning or even removal of affected teeth might be needed if they start to cause problems.
- Arthritis: Like many large, older dogs, Bart is at high risk for arthritis. We recommend starting some simple therapies to keep
his joints comfortable and maintain his mobility as he ages. This could include joint supplements or specific diets.
- Hernia Recurrence: Bart's previous perianal hernias were repaired, but there's a chance they could come back as he gets
older. This is because the tissues in that area can weaken with age. If you notice him straining to defecate or see swelling near
his bottom again, he should see a vet.

Please quote the impound number (next to the name of the animal) when enquiring.
Opening Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 8:30am-4:30pm
- Saturday: 9am-1pm
- Sunday: 9am-1pm
If you already have a dog and wish to adopt another one, we urge you to visit the facility with your dog for a 'Meet and Greet' to ensure that they are compatible.
All of our animals come desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, vet-checked and lifetime registered in NSW and this is included in the adoption fee.
