Smooch

Smooch is a sweet, easy-going little Chihuahua who loves nothing more than being part of the family. She's an affectionate companion who is happiest curled up beside her people on the couch, soaking up attention and enjoying the comforts of home. She has been with us since Christmas last year as we have been focusing on her health journey. With some teeth cleans/removals, lump removal, and some new knees, Smooch is feeling much better and finally ready to fledge from her foster home to find her forever family!

In the home environment, Smooch is a relaxed and lovable girl who settles into family life beautifully. Although she's a senior, she still enjoys her daily walks and likes to keep busy with enrichment activities that engage her clever mind. She's the perfect mix of companion and adventure buddy, happy to join you for an outing before settling in for a cuddle.

Smooch is looking for a home where she can be included indoors and enjoy plenty of quality time with her family. She may suit a variety of households and would love owners who can help her continue building confidence out on walks. She could also live with a very calm, respectful canine companion following a successful meet and greet.

Smooch will need very secure fencing, and no front yard access as she is very well rehearsed when it comes to yelling at other dogs to "get off her lawn" so to speak. She may not be suitable for townhouse/unit living if there are a lot of dogs around due to her reactivity with dogs.
