Meet Ace 🐾

Ace is a handsome young boy with a heart full of love and one of the sweetest personalities you'll ever meet. His signature look, with one floppy ear and one standing proudly upright, is enough to make anyone smile, but it's his affectionate nature that truly steals hearts.

Ace absolutely adores people. He's happiest when he's close to his humans, whether that's following you from room to room, curling up beside you on the couch, or snuggling into bed at night. While he enjoys the company of other dogs, people are definitely his favourite.

With a moderate energy level, Ace enjoys a game of fetch and loves chasing a ball, but he's just as content relaxing at home with his family. He's clever, food motivated, and learns quickly, although he has a cheeky stubborn streak that keeps life interesting!

Ace walks well on lead and is mostly house trained. He's still working on a few things and would benefit from continued training, particularly around his excitement when meeting other dogs. Because of his size, intelligence and breed mix, he'd thrive with someone experienced with large breeds, German Shepherds or working dogs who can continue building on his training.

Ace could happily live as an only dog or with another calm, friendly dog. He is not suitable for a home with cats and would be best with older children who can comfortably interact with a large dog.

Like many clever Shepherds, Ace can be quite the escape artist! He can reach countertops, open lever-style door handles, and even work his way out of some crates if something exciting catches his attention. Keeping food and treats out of reach is a must, and secure fencing is essential. He also has some mild separation anxiety but settles well, especially if another dog is around.

Ace is looking for an active home where he'll be included as part of the family, receive ongoing guidance, and get all the love he so happily gives in return. He also needs to gain a little weight and continue blossoming into the amazing companion he's already proving to be.
