Joop may be tiny, but she's quite certain she has the presence of a much grander lady.

This little blue-eyed princess weighs less than 3kg and has perfected the art of looking mildly offended by absolutely everything. Don't let the grumpy little face fool you, though – underneath all that royal displeasure is a very sweet girl who is quite happy to accept affection, particularly if it comes in the form of a good butt scratch. Being cuddled like a baby though? Well. She has standards.

At the moment, Joop is sporting a haircut that's a little bit ridiculous. Her fluffy head, fluffy tail, and little fluffy legs give her the appearance of wearing tiny furry boots, while the rest of her is currently rather... streamlined. 😂 But this is only temporary. Once her coat grows back, Joop is going to be incredibly fluffy – we're talking walking-cloud levels of floof.

And that glorious coat comes with a very important responsibility. Joop needs an adopter who is experienced with maintaining a long, dense coat and who understands that regular brushing is not optional. Brushing Joop is, shall we say, an experience. She has opinions. She has theatrics. She may lodge a formal complaint with management. Her adopter will need to be confident, patient and committed to keeping her coat free from mats, even when Her Royal Fluffiness disagrees with the proceedings.

Her little face will also need regular care, including keeping her eyes and facial folds clean and comfortable.

Joop is happy around other cats and children and, once you've negotiated the terms of the royal agreement, she's a sweet little companion who enjoys being part of the family. She also has a sensitive tummy and does best with a good-quality sensitive digestion diet. Royal Canin Digestive wet food is a particular favourite, and a probiotic can help if her tummy occasionally gets itself into a little tizzy.

Joop is looking for someone who appreciates that sometimes the smallest cats come with the biggest personalities – and who is prepared to give this tiny, fluffy princess the grooming care she needs to become the magnificent walking cloud she's destined to be.

Joop's adoption fee is $200 which includes desexing, microchipping, parasite prevention, and initial F3 vaccination.
