At just 8 months old, Socks has already perfected the art of making sure nobody forgets just how important pats are! 😂🤍 This sweet, loving girl is happiest when she’s right by your side — and if you happen to be working at your desk, even better! 💻🐾 Socks has absolutely no problem interrupting your workday when she decides it’s time for attention.

Her favourite way to ask for pats is to gently place a paw on your arm or chest and let you know, “Excuse me, I require attention now.” 🥹🐾😂 She’ll happily follow you around the house, just wanting to be wherever you are.

And when Socks is happy, you'll definitely know about it! 😽🔊 She has the loudest, most adorable purr, meaning there’s basically a tiny motor following you around the house at all times. 🥰🚗💨

But Socks isn't all cuddles! 🎉 She also has a playful side and loves racing through tunnels, attacking cardboard scratchers and playing with her kitty friends. 🐱🌀🧸 She’s perfectly capable of entertaining herself too, making her the lovely balance of affectionate and independent.

At bedtime, Socks can happily curl up and do her own thing, but she’s also more than happy to sleep beside you. 😴🤍 If she chooses your bed, prepare yourself for the world's cutest white-noise machine — her loud little purrs will let you know just how content she is! 🥹🎶

Socks is looking for a forever home where she’ll be included as part of the family and given plenty of affection, playtime and, most importantly… lots and lots of pats! 🐾💕🏡

Our adoptable cats are indoor-only to keep them safe, healthy and happy. We ask all adopters to provide a secure indoor home where their new companion can thrive.

For all cats under 12 months old, Rocky Roads Rescue has a strict, no single kittens adoption policy. Solo adoptions will only be permitted if specified in the cat's profile.
