Yoshi is a sweet young pup who is confident and affectionate, despite having a rough start to life. He came into care very underweight and missing a lot of hair, but is thriving now and looking forward to his forever home.

Yoshi is a typical puppy that loves his toys, playing with other dogs, and is curious about everything. He is a bit of a sook and loves to be close to his people, but as long as he knows they’re nearby is quite happy to do his own thing too. He is confident when meeting dogs much larger than him and not afraid to engage in play, but listens well to correction.

Yoshi is currently living with a 4 yo human and loves following her around and seeing what she’s up to. He’s still learning not to mouth and jump up, but with boundaries and positive reinforcement he will grow out of these behaviours. He loves his food and already knows to sit for his meals. He sleeps in a crate at night, with only the occasional whinge to be let out for a wee. He is reasonably chill for a pup - one moment running around getting into everything and the next minute snoozing in the sun, or preferably on your lap.

Yoshi is an adaptable and resilient pup who will suit most families/couples/single people. Being a young pup he would do best with another playful dog or with someone home a fair bit. As with all puppies, training and boundaries will help him grow into the best dog he can be. He’s a cute little guy now, but puppies are a lot of work and require a lot of commitment!

Yoshi is $450 to adopt and comes desexed, microchipped, C5 vaccinated, and given flea/tick/worm prevention.
