About Sierra (69458)
Sierra came to GAWS as a stray, so her past is a bit of a mystery. As a result, she may need some support adjusting to indoor living, including toilet training if she hasn't lived in a home before.
Sierra takes a little time to get to know new people, but once you've earned her trust, she is incredibly affectionate and loves being close to her people. She forms strong bonds and can show some mild resource guarding of her favourite humans, so she would be best suited as the only dog in the home. An exception may be considered for an experienced owner with a confident, well-socialized male dog.
Sierra is not suitable to live with cats.
Still in her adolescent stage, Sierra is a sweet, loving girl with so much potential. With patience, guidance, and a family willing to help her continue building her confidence, she's sure to make a devoted companion.

Please note it is compulsory that we meet any existing dogs with the GAWS dog of interest to help ensure a good match for all involved. In addition, all household members are required to attend the meet and greet to assess the dog's interaction. We do not monitor PetRescue enquiries and all applications must come through our website.
