About Darlene (69179)
Darlene is a lovable, loose-and-wiggly Staffy cross with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She loves cuddles, playtime, and spending time with her people.
Darlene would thrive in an active home that can continue supporting her weight-loss journey and provide plenty of exercise and enrichment. She'll also benefit from ongoing training, particularly with her lead manners, as she can be quite strong and enthusiastic on walks.
She may be suitable for a cat-friendly home and would likely enjoy having an active, playful male dog as a companion. Darlene may also do well with older, dog-savvy children. She absolutely adores people, but her excitement and frequent zoomies can make her a bit of a knocking-over hazard!
As Darlene came to us as a stray, much of her history remains unknown, including whether she is fully toilet trained.
If you're looking for a fun-loving, affectionate companion who will keep you smiling, Darlene could be your new best friend.

Please note it is compulsory that we meet any existing dogs with the GAWS dog of interest to help ensure a good match for all involved. In addition, all household members are required to attend the meet and greet to assess the dog's interaction. We do not monitor PetRescue enquiries and all applications must come through our website.
