Meet Emma! 🐕

🐾 Personality:
Emma is a clever, confident and active young girl who loves being involved in whatever you’re doing. Combining the brains of a Kelpie with the bold personality of a Dachshund, she is an intelligent pup who enjoys exploring, learning and having a job to do.

Despite her busy puppy side, Emma actually settles really nicely and chills out for most of the day once her needs are met. She loves a good snuggle and being close to her people. She is maturing quickly and has had lots of socialisation, which has helped her become a lovely, well-rounded young dog.

Emma has a strong prey drive, so she is not suited to a home with cats or small pocket pets.

🎓 Training:
Emma is at a great age to keep building on her foundation and takes to training really well. She is crate trained and sleeps through the night, settling nicely into a routine. She enjoys learning and responds well to positive reinforcement.

Her basic obedience, trick training, scent games and leash walking are all ongoing, and she will continue to benefit from regular mental and physical activity.

🏠 Perfect Home:
Emma would suit an active home that understands the needs of a young working-breed mix and can continue her training and socialisation. She would love another confident, playful dog to keep her company, but she can also thrive as a solo dog with plenty of interaction and enrichment.

Thanks to her ongoing socialisation and lovely nature, we feel Emma could be very comfortable living with younger children. A secure yard, daily walks, play and plenty of time with her family would be ideal.
