Melinda is a gorgeous, playful, and affectionate tripod kitten who loves cuddles and the company of a gentle feline companion. Don't let her three legs fool you—this strong little girl hasn't let anything slow her down! After coming into care with a missing foot, Melinda had a full leg amputation to ensure she could live a happy, pain-free life. She took her recovery completely in her stride and moves around, plays, and explores just like any other kitten.

Medical notes
Melinda had one of her back legs amputated after coming into care with a missing paw. It is believed the paw may have been accidentally chewed off by her mother shortly after birth, possibly after being mistaken for part of the umbilical cord.
Although the initial injury had healed, Melinda continued to develop sores on the end of the affected limb from putting pressure on it when moving around. After veterinary assessment, amputation of the remaining portion of the leg was considered the best option for her long-term comfort and quality of life.
Melinda has recovered extremely well from surgery and has adapted beautifully to life on three legs. She is an active, happy kitten who runs, bounces, plays and climbs with ease and seems completely unaware that she is missing a leg.
Her amputation does not currently limit her normal kitten activities, and she is expected to enjoy a happy and active life as a three-legged cat.

We have a mandatory house inspection
Shortlisted adopters will be contacted to arrange a meet & greet with the animal. **Depending on our foster's availability
We do follow-ups throughout the life of the animal
In the event that you are unable to care for the animal anymore, you must contact us to seek verbal advice
Some animals will require mandatory enrollment to professional training/behaviorist - this will be noted on the animal's profile & adoption agreement, we will require proof of enrollment before we are able to complete the adoption process/transfer of ownership
