In mid-April, I found a tiny kitten who looked like she had almost run out of time.
Her name is Clover.❤️

She was only 8–10 weeks old.
And she didn't even weigh 460 grams.
I remember looking at this tiny, skeletal little body and wondering how she was still alive. She was profoundly emaciated, incredibly weak, and hanging on with every bit of strength her tiny body had left.
She should have been running around, playing, causing mischief and being loved by someone. Instead, she was fighting simply to survive. 💔

I took her to the vet and was told that it was going to be a long road and that Clover would need time before we would know if she was truly going to make it.
For the next four months, I watched this little girl fight.❤️

There were times when all I could do was hope. But Clover had other plans.
She wasn't ready to give up.
And little by little, that heartbreaking, fragile kitten began to disappear… and the beautiful little soul underneath began to emerge. ❤️

Today, Clover is healthy.
❤️She is playful.
❤️She is affectionate.
❤️She is cheeky.
❤️And she absolutely adores people.
She follows you around like a tiny shadow, wanting to know what you're doing and making sure she gets plenty of love and attention. She has the sweetest little dog-like personality and just wants to be close to her humans.

She loves playing with other cats too.
And her tail… oh, her tail. 🐍😂
It moves around like a little snake, and it has become one of the funniest and most adorable things about her. 🤗

Sometimes I look at her and think about that tiny 460-gram kitten.
The kitten who was so desperately sick.
The kitten who had almost nothing left.
And I cannot believe how far she has come.

But surviving was only the first part of her story. Now I want her story to have the ending she deserves. I want someone to look at Clover and never see the sick, emaciated kitten she once was.
I want them to see the beautiful little girl she has become. 😻

I want someone to love her fiercely.❤️
❤️To protect her.
❤️To spoil her.
❤️To let her sleep beside them.
❤️To laugh at her crazy little snake tail.
❤️To let her follow them from room to room.🐾🐾
And most importantly, to make sure she never has to fight for her life again. ❤️

Because of everything Clover has already survived, she must be strictly indoor-only, or have access to a secure enclosure attached to the home.🏡
She is trusting and could easily be picked up by the wrong person if allowed to roam. After everything she has been through, I will not compromise on her safety.

Four months ago, I didn't know if Clover would live long enough to know what love felt like. Today, she knows exactly what love feels like.
