3 in one combo! Truth, Virtue, and Promise
Back in February, we were notified about a situation that left two ringneck doves Truth and Virtue in need of a safe place to land after their owner was too unwell to look after them anymore.

As a result, when they were rescued, it was apparent they hadn’t been adequately maintained for a while! Sharing an enclosure with a cockatiel that @ took in, they were fed a poor quality seed mix that contributed to an array of health issues: the pair were rather obese from a high fat diet, and were lethargic and slow on intake. Virtue in particular had significant trouble, having developed fatty liver disease and a severely overgrown beak.

After some grooming and being transitioned onto a healthier diet with pellets and a formulated grain mix, Truth and Virtue are looking much better and have been patiently waiting for their forever home! They have formed a flock with our other rescued dove Promise, and they would like to remain together forever either as their own gang or as residents to an already established flock of doves.

All 3 of the gang are fairly relaxed around people and enjoy eating from your hand and using it as a fun perch.
