About Disco
Disco is an absolutely gorgeous dilute grey tortoiseshell girl with velvety plush fur so soft it barely seems real. Gentle, quiet and deeply devoted, Disco is the kind of cat who forms powerful emotional bonds and quietly gives her whole heart to the creatures she loves most.
Disco grew up outdoors with her mother and siblings and had very little exposure to humans during her early life, leaving her naturally timid and cautious around unfamiliar people and situations. While she still finds the world a little overwhelming at times, she has slowly been learning that humans can be kind and safe. She remains a shy girl, but underneath that nervous exterior is an incredibly sweet and sensitive soul.
One of Disco’s most special qualities is her unwavering devotion to her bonded companion, Darius. When Darius arrived in care traumatised and emotionally shut down after surviving life on the streets, Disco immediately stepped into the role of his emotional support cat. She comforts him, cuddles him, grooms him and helps him feel safe in ways humans simply cannot. Their bond is truly beautiful to witness, and they rely heavily on one another for confidence and emotional security. Because of this, Disco and Darius must be adopted together.
Disco enjoys the simple things in life — food is definitely high on the list — but her favourite place is wherever Darius happens to be. She is also famously talented at making biscuits and may very well hold the title for best biscuit maker in the west. Quiet companionship, soft blankets, predictable routines and patient people are exactly what this gentle girl needs to continue building confidence.
She would thrive in a calm, adults-only home where expectations are gentle and trust is allowed to develop naturally over time. Disco is not a cat who will immediately demand attention or become the centre of the party, but for someone willing to give her patience, love and understanding, she will become a deeply loyal and rewarding companion.
Disco may never be the boldest cat in the room, but she doesn’t need to be. Her quiet devotion, sweet nature and enormous heart make her truly special. Alongside Darius, she’s searching for a peaceful forever home where both cats can finally feel safe, loved and accepted exactly as they are.
Disco is a healthy raw/high quality fed cat who has been wormed, flea treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped (microchip #956000011322249, source #RE101165). She is available for adoption right now!
