Dennis Whittaker came into CPoM's care after being handed in through a veterinary clinic. Now safe and loved in foster care, this cheeky young boy is ready to find a family who will appreciate his playful personality and give him the time he needs to settle into his forever home.

Dennis is a gorgeous Domestic Medium Hair kitten with fluffy white fur splashed with patches of colour and a soft, Maine Coon-like appearance. Mischievous, chatty, clumsy and full of character, he loves to play and will happily chase anything that moves. Food is one of his favourite things in life, and if you've got a noisy toy ball, don't be surprised if Dennis decides 3am is the perfect time for a game! Although he enjoys affection, he prefers to initiate cuddles on his own terms and will happily seek you out when he's ready for some love.

Dennis is looking for a home with children over 12 years of age. He absolutely loves the company of other cats and would thrive in a home with a playful feline companion who will match his social nature. He is not suited to living with dogs. Dennis can be a little wary of new people and loud, unexpected noises at first, so a patient family who will let him settle in at his own pace will help him flourish.

Dennis Whittaker is a healthy raw/high quality fed kitten who has been wormed, flea treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped (microchip #900141000967727, source #RE101165). He does have chronic calici virus and has lost most of his teeth (it causes very bad gingivitis). Any adopting person/family will have to be prepared to continue his immune support regime and follow procedure if there is a flare up with support from Cat People of Melbourne. To adopt from us you'll be required to have minimum an online meet & greet, a remote house check, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Our animals are fully vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being advertised. They are evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and any known issues are communicated. NOT NEGOTIABLE CONDITIONS: indoor only/restrained to property & must be fed raw or vet prescription wet food.
We will communicate through every step of the process to ensure that the experience is excellent and your feline companion is the right fit. Read the contract for T&Cs for returns.
You must have residency in Australia to adopt from our group. If you are visiting or on a visa, talk to us about fostering instead!
