About Thomas SUA015624
Thomas is a gentle young man with a sweet heart hiding behind a shy exterior.
Thomas finds meeting new people and being in unfamiliar environments overwhelming, so don’t expect him to show you everything he has to offer on your first introduction. This lovely boy needs time to watch, listen and work out that everything is going to be okay.
But give Thomas the time he needs and you’ll discover the beautiful boy underneath. Once he feels safe and comfortable, Thomas is very sweet and affectionate, and forming that special bond with him will make the wait all the more worthwhile.
Thomas is looking for someone who understands that trust happens at his pace, not ours. When he arrives in his forever home, he’ll need plenty of time and his own space to settle in, explore his surroundings and gradually get to know his new person.
His perfect home will be quiet, calm and relaxing, without children, dogs or other cats. Thomas would love to be your one and only, enjoying a peaceful life where there are no expectations or pressure and he can come out of his shell in his own time.
If you’re patient, gentle and willing to let a shy young guy choose when he’s ready to take the next step, Thomas could reward you with something very special — his trust, his affection and his whole heart.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
