About Mr Dash - 9 Month Old Dachshund X Kelpie

Mr Dash is a delightful little guy and a true bundle of joy. He’s already a confident pup when it comes to meeting new people and other dogs, so you’ll see his social, friendly nature right from day one. Just give him a chance to settle in, and he’ll be your most loyal companion in no time.
Mr Dash needs a same size and same energy friend for company, security and to play with in his forever home.
As an active teenager with Kelpie energy, Mr Dash is busy, curious, and loves to chew. He will benefit from training in general and lead training, as well as having enrichment items (like lick mats or Kongs) to keep his mind and body busy.
A minimum one walk a day is essential, two walks a day is preferred for Mr Dash.
Mr Dash is not suited to units, villas courtyards. As he is a bit of an escape artist, so he needs a secure, fully fenced yard (at least 1.2m high) which will give him the safe space he needs to run and play.
He is good with children (5+) who give him a little time to warm up. Once he does, he will be a joyful part of your family.
Mr Dash doesn’t have any of those typical “little dog” quirks—he is not yappy at all, and he doesn’t have that “small dog syndrome.” He’s just a confident, easy-going guy who is ready to be part of your family.

His adoption fee is $800. He is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and treated for fleas, ticks and worms. He is in foster care in Lisarow, NSW.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved, we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) Next, we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or at a nearby park.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay the adoption fee*, sign the NSW change of ownership form and our DRN Adoption Agreement and take your new family member home! The two week trial period begins on the day of adoption.
*We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal cheques.
