We'll have so many fantastic felines looking for their forever homes. Whether you're searching for an energetic playmate or a more laid-back companion, there's a good chance you'll meet "the one" at this event! Our team will be on hand to help match you with a cat or kitten that suits your lifestyle and to answer any questions you may have. Come along for a meet-and-greet and maybe leave with a new family member!
This beautiful Ragdoll gentleman has already proven what a wonderful companion he can be. During his time in a home, Boo loved being close to his person, happily sleeping on the bed each night and keeping them company throughout the day. He's a calm, affectionate boy who isn't interested in racing around the house. Instead, he'd much rather be by your side, enjoying a cuddle, being picked up, or quietly sharing whatever you're doing. He also settled beautifully into a quiet home, was relaxed around visitors, and was even happy to have his nails trimmed, making him an absolute pleasure to live with.
Sadly, Boo has found himself back in our care through no fault of his own after his previous owner developed allergies. We know just how lovely he is, and we'd love nothing more than to see him back where he belongs, curled up on someone's bed and soaking up all the love he deserves. Cats like Boo don't come through our shelter very often, and we know he'll make an incredibly special companion for the lucky person who welcomes him home.
Boo has a few ongoing health considerations, including a Grade 2 dental condition that does not currently require surgery and FIV, which means he'll need to live indoors and either be the only cat in the home or live with another FIV positive cat. He has also shown a mild anaemia in the past. Our veterinary team will take the time to discuss all of his care needs with his new family so they feel confident welcoming him home.
If you're looking for a gentle, affectionate companion who simply wants to be close to the people he loves, Boo could be the perfect addition to your family. We encourage you to come and meet Boo at our North Melbourne shelter as soon as possible, as our cats cannot be placed on hold. We have a feeling this gorgeous gentleman is going to steal a lot of hearts.
