Pixie

Pixie is proof that a little patience can uncover a whole lot of personality.

When Pixie first arrived in foster care, everything felt a little scary. She spent her first few days quietly settling in, but once she realised she was safe, it was like someone flipped a switch. Before long she was confidently zooming around the house, exploring every corner, chasing toys, and showing everyone just how playful she really is.

Pixie is full of energy and absolutely loves to play. Cardboard scratchers and scrunch balls are some of her favourite things, and she's always up for a game before flopping onto her back for a well earned rest. One of her cutest little quirks is that she actually enjoys gentle belly rubs, something many cats would never dream of allowing! She prefers to keep all four paws on the floor rather than being picked up, but she's very affectionate in her own way, happily sitting beside you and soaking up gentle pats. She also has a healthy appetite and never misses mealtime.

Pixie is looking for a family who'll enjoy her playful spirit, give her plenty of enrichment, and let her continue growing into the confident, happy girl she's become. We encourage you to come and meet Pixie at our North Melbourne shelter as soon as possible, as our cats cannot be placed on hold. We think this fun-loving little lady is going to bring so much joy to her new home.
